StreetPrivacy ("we", "us") operates https://streetprivacy.com and provides a service that helps homeowners request blurring of their home on Google Street View and similar public platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
Information we collect
- Contact info you give us (name, email, phone).
- The address you ask us to submit and any proof-of-address you upload.
- Payment metadata from our payment processor (we never see your card number).
- Basic technical data (IP, browser, device) needed to serve the site securely.
- With your consent, analytics and advertising identifiers as disclosed in our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- Provide the service you ordered and communicate about your order.
- Verify ownership/authorization and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- Improve the product — only with analytics consent.
Third-party disclosures
We share data only with vendors necessary to run the service, under contract, and only for the purposes below:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase (via Lovable Cloud) — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google — we submit your Street View blur request to Google on your behalf.
- Email delivery — transactional messages about your order.
- Analytics / advertising vendors — only if you've granted the corresponding consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some cookie-based ad sharing may qualify as "sharing" under CCPA/CPRA; you can opt out below.
Your rights under CCPA / CPRA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
- Access and receive a copy of your personal information.
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Your rights under GDPR (EEA / UK)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), legal obligation, and consent (for optional analytics and advertising). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Consent choices are stored on your device for up to 182 days.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, RLS on our database). No method is 100% secure — we work continuously to protect your data.
Children
Our service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted.
