Terms of Service
Effective date: July 9, 2026
Welcome to StreetPrivacy ("we", "us", "our"), operated by StreetPrivacy. By accessing https://streetprivacy.com or purchasing our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. What we do
StreetPrivacy is a paid concierge service that prepares and submits blur requests to Google Street View and similar public map platforms on your behalf. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Apple, or any other map provider. The final decision to apply a blur is made solely by the map provider, not by us.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must have the right to request a blur for the address you submit (typically as the owner, tenant, or authorized representative).
3. Pricing, fees, and refunds
- The service fee is displayed at checkout and is charged at the time of order.
- A non-refundable processing fee is included in every order to cover payment, moderation, and submission costs. This fee is disclosed at checkout and is retained even if a refund is otherwise issued.
- If we cannot submit your request (for example, moderation rejection or duplicate order), we will refund the service portion or issue store credit at our discretion, minus the non-refundable processing fee.
- Because the outcome is controlled by third-party map providers, we do not guarantee that a blur will be applied or that it will remain in place indefinitely.
- What our money-back guarantee covers: we guarantee that we will submit the region you approved on the confirmation screenshot and follow through with Google until the request is processed. The guarantee covers our submission and follow-through work — it does not cover the blurring of areas outside the approved region (for example, driveways, front yards, or vehicles parked on the street), which depend on the camera angle and Google's own tooling.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate address and contact information.
- Only submit addresses you have the right to request a blur for.
- Do not submit third parties' addresses, businesses you don't operate, or fake information.
- Do not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use StreetPrivacy to harass, stalk, or evade law enforcement, to conceal fraud, or in violation of any law. We may refuse, cancel, or refund any order at our discretion, including orders that appear to be duplicates, abusive, or made in bad faith.
6. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@streetprivacy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Intellectual property
The StreetPrivacy name, logo, website, code, and content are owned by StreetPrivacy and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the service without our written permission.
8. Third-party services
We rely on third-party services (payment processing, map providers, hosting, email). Their availability and terms are outside our control. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a blur will be granted, applied within any specific timeframe, or maintained indefinitely.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreetPrivacy and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us for the order giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold StreetPrivacy harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of an address you did not have the right to submit.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may terminate your account at any time via the Privacy Center.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which StreetPrivacy is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
